Our
little boy lost his battle with epilepsy on the morning of March 16, 1998. We
miss him more than words can say, and there is a huge hole in our lives that
will be vacant until we meet again someday. Brownie was the first dog we ever
rescued, and each and every dog we assist for the rest of our lives owes a debt
to him.
In life Brownie was the guardian of his pack, and although he had a bad leg from being hit by a car it was not enough to hamper his love for his family. As in life, Brownie watches over all Shorthairs as they pass on to the Rainbow Bridge. He greets them, tells them everything is going to be alright, and shows them all the best places to chase squirrels. He now waits patiently for the day when he is reunited with his family, but until then he has a job to do.
We miss you boy. Your love and your life will never be forgotten.
